2 Hours a Week Training Schedule
I knew I should have trained more than two hours a week!

If you only have two hours a week to train, racing may not be for you. At mountainbikeracer.com we suggest the following before starting a training schedule:

  • Ride 1000 miles of singletrack at an easy pace. This will take about 24 weeks if you ride six hours a week averaging 7 miles per hour.
  • Also read William Nealy's "Mountain BIKE!"
  • Reduce other activities and get to what's important - Mtn Biking!!
If we can't talk you into riding more per week, have fun with the time you have!
