  1. What year did you start racing mountain bikes?

My first race was Granogue in 2000 ouch.

  2. What is your best result so far? (example: 3rd Place Senior Expert Men - Mt. Snow, VT - 2000)

I got like 16th place or something at Fair Hill last year, I kinda suck at racing.

  3. What is the most and least number of hours that you train in a week? (Not zero but the least number of hours you actually train)

1-10 depending on if I commute to work on my roadbike and if the trails are dry......

  4. Name your favorite XC and/or DOWNHILL race course?

I like Fair Hill. The Granogue course is pretty wicked but Fair Hill is the coolest, I would like to race Sea Otter someday....

  5. Name your favorite place to ride:

I like to ride Wissahickon. Jim Thorpe and Middlerun, will somebody please post a "don't ride muddy trails" sign? awwww look what's happening to our trails.....

  6. What is the longest distance or number of hours that you have ridden XC in one day on a mountain bike? (EXCLUDING A 24 OR 12 HOUR RACE unless SOLO!)

I rode the Penta one day and turned it into a 45 miler, I stopped at the Dunkin Donuts on 896 on my way back and then..........

  7. How much of your training is on the road?

Maybe half, it depends on the weather and my free time..It's easier to squeeze in a road ride if I'm pressed for time..

  8. Do you cross train or use weights?

I cross dress and use weights to help me keep my girlish figure.....

  9. Do you use supplements or sport drinks?

Yes, but I try not to abuse them, it's pretty easy to take the whole sports drink thing and get carried away.. I mean the other day, a sponsorless pro racer was standing outside the Wawa begging for change to get a Gatorade, wake up America.......

  10. Do you do anything special (besides the whole training lifestyle) to prepare for an important race?

I try to have a couple beers and smoke a cigarette before each race so I can have a good excuse for sucking.... Also, I seem to have good luck with the phrase "then I had a terrible allergy attack"

  11. Do you use a heart rate monitor?

    Only at the hospital

  12. Do you keep a training log?

That's for lumberjacks or something, why would I need that..

  13. What do you consider your strong points on a race course, hills, technical sections, downhills?

definitely feel that my strong point is looking style-e before and after the race, especially if I just got the new J-crew catalog or something, that way I have a cool pair of Flip-flops or cargo shorts to help me out. Image if everything was just like the TV said.....

  14. What aspect of mountain biking is the most fun for you?

I like to go out by myself and clear out my head. It's the best place go if you need to think. I need to empty my mind so it can be refilled.

  15. What is your greatest moment (biggest rush) that you have experienced on your MOUNTAIN BIKE?

Accidental 30 foot nose wheely down very steep section of Brandywine in the middle of winter, Ice everywhere and riding it clean..... whew I almost crapped my bibs.

  16. Do you have any suggestions for Beginner racers?

Yeah, try to be nice when you pass me... and buy all the stuff the pro's have, the cooler you look, the faster you'll go. I swear.
